The neighbourhood as classroom
Social welfare & community development
Child-labour schools and rallies, minority-welfare seminars, humanism workshops, road safety, and the quiet work of taking public schemes to people who have not been told they exist.
Community development, for this Sansthan, is not a separate department. It is the decision to hold a seminar at a local educational group, a rally in Siddhaur, a street play at a petrol pump, a survey in a mohalla. The activities below are those whose first purpose is social awareness, child protection, or the strengthening of community life.
