Programme overview
Flag hoisting followed by performances by children of Aastha Meenu Silai Kadhai School and the surrounding neighbourhood.
Detailed description
The Sansthan organised a flag-hoisting ceremony on 15 August, followed by a cultural programme presented by the children of Aastha Meenu Silai Kadhai School. Children from the school and the surrounding area offered patriotic and creative performances. Gram Pradhan Shri Manoj Kumar Rawat, School Manager Shri Krishna Gupta, social worker Smt. Vandana Devi, parents, and residents attended. The day is small in scale and large in meaning: a sewing school’s courtyard becomes a republic’s classroom, and children who learn a trade also learn to stand for the flag.
