Prevention in the neighbourhood
Why this work matters
Health work is done with hospitals, medical officers, and volunteers rather than in isolation. Booths, door-to-door survey, and school pledges are the typical forms. The emphasis is prevention, early detection, and the courage to speak about diseases that still carry stigma.
