Detailed description

With the support of Sanyukt Rani Lakshmibai Chikitsalaya, Lucknow, the Sansthan conducted a Leprosy Prevention Survey across various localities. Four dedicated teams visited neighbourhoods to identify people showing symptoms of leprosy and referred suspected patients to the hospital. Treatment at the hospital was free. Team members including Pramod Kumar Gaur, Pramod Sharma, Lalla Mishra, Poonam Singh, Vimla Pandey, Vikas Srivastava, Ragini Pandey, and Shravan Kumar worked with notable commitment. Early identification, timely referral, and public conversation about a disease still clouded by fear — that is the method. The Sansthan’s role was not to replace the hospital, but to walk the lanes the hospital cannot walk every day.
