Detailed description
With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Sansthan presented a theatrical adaptation of Bade Ghar Ki Beti at Village Bahadurpur, District Unnao. The Chief Guest, Shri Vinay Kumar Mishra, lit the lamp with Gram Pradhan Shri Surendra Kumar Chaurasia and other village representatives. Saraswati Vandana opened the evening. Artists including Srishti Soni, Kanchan, Priya Singh, Sonali, Babita, Prakash, Lalit Bhatt, and Anil Kumar performed. Shri Narayan Srivastava Group, Lucknow, contributed music and ensemble work — tabla, harmonium, song, folk pieces, magic, and puppet shows. In the play itself, artists took their roles with care. President Shri R. K. Chaurasia and Secretary Shri Mahendra Kumar Maurya spoke on the play’s theme and on the place of folk arts in heritage. The Chief Guest noted that the Sansthan has worked for the preservation of culture for nearly 26 years.
