Detailed description
With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Sansthan organised a Traditional Rajasthani Folk Dance, Folk Songs and Cultural Festival at Dr. Ambedkar Maidan, Development Block Machhrehta, District Sitapur. The programme opened with a ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana by artists Kanchan, Sonali, and Priya. Priya Singh, Ruby Shukla, Anjani, and the artists of Kanchan Group & Party presented folk songs and dances. Students staged songs and plays on “Quit Addiction, Connect with Life” and on cleanliness. President Shri R. K. Chaurasia spoke of culture as social identity and of festivals such as the Mahakumbh as expressions of India’s living traditions. Artists and community contributors were honoured with mementos. A large gathering of students, parents, residents, and guests attended.
