Detailed description
With the support of the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the Sansthan organised a Seminar and Workshop on Buddhism and Humanism at Ambedkar Maidan, Gram Gangapur, Development Block Machhrehta, District Sitapur. Chief Guest Shri Surendra Singh lit the lamp and offered a garland at the statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. He spoke of Buddhism’s spread and of its commitment to humanity, compassion, equality, and peace. Special Guest Shri Mahesh Chaurasia recalled that the Buddha rose above caste and social discrimination. President Shri R. K. Chaurasia honoured the guests. Villagers including Vandana Devi, Vinod Kumar, Shanti Devi, and Sandeep Singh were present. The seminar placed the organisation’s social work in a moral frame: development without equality is incomplete.
