Detailed description
With the support of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, the Sansthan organised a World Earth Day programme on 22 April at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Barsuiya, Development Block Khairabad, District Sitapur. The day included an environmental awareness rally, tree plantation, a cleanliness campaign, a plastic-free campaign, poster and slogan competitions, water-conservation activities, awareness sessions, distribution of plants, and an environmental protection pledge by children and youth. Guests including Shri Vinod Kumar Gupta, Shri Sushil Gupta, Shri Arvind Kumar, Director Shri Bajpai, and Shri D. K. Verma spoke on collective responsibility. Participants pledged to plant trees, save water and electricity, reduce plastic, and keep their surroundings clean. Those who contributed were honoured at the close.
