Detailed description

With the support of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, the Sansthan implemented the Nai Roshni Leadership Development Programme in localities of Shahjahanpur and Sultanpur districts. Beneficiaries trained in groups of 25. Over seven days, skilled women trainers covered leadership, rights and responsibilities, financial awareness, government welfare schemes, and community development. Bank managers, District Programme Officers, and District Minority Welfare Officers shared information on facilities available to minority communities. Lunch was provided each day. Groups were also encouraged to form for collective livelihood. After the training, certificates were issued and financial assistance of ₹600 was transferred to each beneficiary’s bank account. Nai Roshni is not a one-off seminar; it is a short leadership school for women who have too rarely been invited to lead.
