Folk art as public life
Why this work matters
With support from the Ministry of Culture on several occasions, the Sansthan stages folk song, dance, and theatre on village grounds and in schools. Culture is also a vehicle for social messages — against addiction, for cleanliness, for unity. Heritage is treated as something still being made.
